Welcome to 2022: Where Curiosity Leads to Innovation

On behalf of our team at Intraprise, I am pleased to wish you a Happy New Year, albeit more than a week later than planned (more on that in a bit). We are excited to jump back in and continue to share thoughts, ideas, content, and commentary, as we hope to grow our community of curious colleagues throughout 2022. Given our unanticipated period of “radio silence”, I thought it might be worthwhile to start the year off with a recap and brief explanation.

When we left for the holidays at the end of December, we had written and shared two pieces of a three-part series about cloud computing, as well as various curated and original content designed to lead us into Part III of the cloud computing series [see Part I and Part II].  Faced with the start of a new COVID surge just in time to disrupt, in a grand fashion, the holiday season, we chose to step back, take a deep breath, and hit the proverbial pause button on our content schedule for the final two weeks of 2021. We didn’t want to publish Part III as everyone’s attention was shifting to other important life events.  

As it turned out, COVID extended our two-week pause by a bit more than a week.  To pile on the irony, most of our team crossed from 2021 into 2022 dealing with COVID, like so many millions around the globe.  After a period of quarantine and recovery, aided by vaccinations and boosters, we started our 2022 editorial calendar a bit more than a week later than planned. 

We are excited to continue to share information, insights, and opinions with you as we enter 2022 with a spark of optimism and a sense of certainty that whatever we think will unfold is going to change. Together, we will adapt.
